We would like to thank you for taking part in this study to assess people's knowledge of the emotional states of dogs.
Research has shown that most bites occur to children by a dog who is familiar to them. The aim of this study is to identify the best methods of teaching owners and children how to enjoy safer interactions with dogs.
The study takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and uses video footage and photographs of dogs in a number of situations. You will be asked to select how you think the dog feels in each of the situations. Your responses are completely anonymous.
The results will be available in the autumn of 2014. There is information about how you can obtain a copy of the results at the end of the survey.
